This week the Inverness Courier is reporting at the terrible waiting times at the hospital’s accident and emergency department. These figures are reported to be the worst in recorded history.
The paper recorded 85.1% are seen with 4 hours but 49 people waited over 8 hours and 12 people over 12 hours to be seen.
The paper went on to say “Regional Conservative MSP Donald Cameron said: “This trend is something that should concern everybody as it shows that the service seems to be under unprecedented pressure.”
