Our services

Our team visits offices or training centres across the UK to offer private screening services to businesses and sports clubs. We set up our mobile clinic in a private room and invite staff and sports players, one at a time, for a short screening by our qualified professionals.

Using tools like a dermatoscope, we are able to identify any moles or lesions of concern and refer patients for further assessment or treatment if required. We also provide a short training session on how staff and sports players can check themselves at home, as well as general advice on how best to look after themselves.

What we look for

More than half of people in the UK (60%) have or have had a skin condition in their lives. And at least 100,000 new cases of skin cancer are reported annually. Regular screenings and early detection are among the best tools in our arsenal to combat the crisis, alongside educating people nationwide on how to look after their skin and any warning signs to look out for.

Melanoma UK is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and representing those affected by melanoma skin cancer. Their vision is simple: increase the UK’s awareness of melanoma and its prevention through advocacy, education, and research and reduce the impacts of this disease.

They help patients and families navigate the complicated pathway following a diagnosis of melanoma, including death. Their small but mighty team comprises of only people affected by melanoma, adding to their uniqueness as they deal first-hand with the fallout of this devastating disease.

Melanoma UK provides highly valued support services, including comprehensive patient information, monthly medical webinars, weekly patient calls, and telephone support. They offer peer-to-peer connections, improved patient services, emotional and practical support, and advocate for those affected by melanoma on issues such as access to treatment. Everything they do is to support those affected by the disease; they are passionate about their work and are here to help people suffering from melanoma enjoy a better quality of life.
